A little over five years ago my brother, Aaron, and I, Nathan, decided to drive enduro motorcycles from our home near Chicago to the southern-most tip of South America, Tierra del Fuego.
We made it all the way to Colombia before I brought the trip to a tragic end and busted up my ankle. We don’t give up easily, however, and to prove this we’re making another run at it. We returned to Colombia, rode through Ecuador and Peru. We did some volunteering in the Amazon, saw Machu Picchu and loads of other cool things. Then, major oil burning issues caused us to turn back from the border of Bolivia and return to our mechanic in Lima. Now, we are returning to Peru for Part 3 of our journey. This time, we’ve got Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina in our sights and we’re raising money for Task Force Dagger, an organization that assists special operations members.
